Distribution of dense bone island in the jaw through panoramic radiography based on gender and age

چکیده
Objectives: Panoramic radiographs are used as a diagnostic tool adjunctive to oral examinations, treatment plans, and evaluation of outcomes. This study was aimed determine the distribution Dense Bone Island (DBI) in jaws through panoramic radiography based on gender age.
 Materials Methods: The method for this research is descriptive-observational. data secondary with total 422 radiographic RSKGMP Airlangga University patients.
 Results: From found 253 (60%) patients jaw, more commonly female, which 162 (38.4%) female 91 (21.5%) male patients. It also mostly age range 17–25 years.
 Conclusion: than male. be common aged years.
